EXTERIOR

The body is laser straight, free of visible rust or damage, and fitted with square, flush panels. SS hood and emblems complement the polished Regal Red paint. The chrome and bright trim present well.

American Racing Daisy wheels with BFGoodrich tires provide a period performance look. The black convertible top is in excellent condition.

INTERIOR

The red interior has very good upholstery and includes a matching top boot. The door panels were replaced, while the dashboard remains in very good original condition. A factory console carries a Hurst four-speed shifter. Upgrades include a retro stereo, polished wood steering wheel, auxiliary gauges, and tachometer.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT

Speed Performance Engineering completely rebuilt the 396 engine. Performance equipment includes an Edelbrock intake and carburetor, MSD ignition, and coated headers. Matching aluminum valve covers and breathers dress the engine, while a chrome alternator and billet pulleys and brackets complete the accessory drive.

Power steering and power brakes are installed, and a four-row radiator improves cooling capacity. The surrounding metal surfaces are finished in glossy paint.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT

The underside of the trunk lid and the jamb are finished in glass-like Regal Red paint. The clean metal trunk floor has a neat spatter finish and reproduction mat and weatherstrip. A spare tire is included; no jack is present.

CHASSIS AND UNDERSIDE

The body was removed from the frame for the restoration. The chassis was sandblasted, smoothed, and painted gloss black. Rust-free floors are protected by a durable red chip-guard finish.

The front steering and suspension were rebuilt. Hotchkis upper and lower control arms upgrade the rear suspension. A dual-exhaust system uses Flowmaster mufflers, and the fuel system was completely replaced. Front disc brakes with stainless caliper inserts were added; brake lines and hoses were replaced, and the parking brake is connected.

The Muncie M20 four-speed was completely rebuilt by Roadmaster Transmission. Roadmaster also rebuilt the 12-bolt rear axle, which carries 3.55 Richmond Positraction gears.
