EXTERIOR

The straight body is finished in Ascot Blue metallic paint with polished clear coat and well-aligned panels. A steel cowl hood complements the body. The chrome, moldings, grille, lenses, weatherstripping, and windshield were replaced. Boze wheels measure 18x7 inches in front and 20x12 inches in back and are fitted with Nitto performance tires.

INTERIOR

The restored black interior uses custom front bucket seats with a custom center console, a reupholstered rear seat, and replacement side panels, armrests, rear shelf, and headliner. Digital-and-analog gauges, a Vintage Air electronic slide control, retro-style stereo, deluxe steering wheel, and tilt column provide modernized operation.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT

The 416-cubic-inch LS3 uses a Callies crankshaft, forged pistons, Cam Motion camshaft, roller rockers, chromoly pushrods, Trick Flow CNC aluminum heads, ARP stainless-steel fasteners, Wegner accessory drive, three-liter polished Whipple supercharger, Holley Terminator X fuel injection, stainless-steel headers, and a flex-fuel sensor. The combination produces 850 horsepower in its listed configuration. Supporting equipment includes an intercooler, remote breather catch cans, billet brackets and pulleys, serpentine belt, polished compact air-conditioning compressor and alternator, modern power steering, Cold Case aluminum radiator, polished overflow reservoir, electric fan, polished intake tubing, and custom valve covers. A Wilwood master cylinder and replacement wiper motor are installed. The smoothed metal surfaces are finished in body color, and billet hinges support the hood.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT

The trunk lid underside and jamb are finished in body color and fitted with billet hinges. The boxed, upholstered compartment has a carpeted floor. An intercooler reserve tank, remote battery terminals, and a concealed Optima battery are installed behind the panels. Extra pulleys, a belt, and a car cover accompany the car.

CHASSIS AND UNDERSIDE

The powder-coated frame was upgraded with a custom chassis. The front uses tubular control arms, QA1 adjustable coilovers, a heavy-duty sway bar, and rebuilt steering. Extended frame rails and tubular cross-supports reinforce the rear structure. The rear suspension uses a four-link arrangement, QA1 adjustable coilovers, and a Panhard bar. Drilled-and-slotted disc brakes are fitted at all four wheels. A fabricated three-inch stainless-steel exhaust system uses an X-pipe and MagnaFlow mufflers. The all-aluminum engine is paired with a performance-built 4L80E rated to handle up to 1,500 horsepower and a PTC billet converter. A Quick Performance 9-inch rear axle uses 3.50 Truetrac gearing and 35-spline axles.
