EXTERIOR

The straight body has precise panel gaps and a deep-gloss Regal Red finish. The chrome and trim, dual bowtie mirrors, weatherstripping, and glass were replaced. Staggered Billet Specialties Magneto wheels are fitted with custom performance redline tires.

INTERIOR

The restored black interior features recushioned and reupholstered seats, replacement headliner and carpeting, a deluxe steering wheel on a tilt column, a center console with a working clock, factory gauges, and a blinker tachometer. The wiring harness and fuse panel were replaced. A retro-style stereo, 6x9 speakers, and an amplifier provide updated audio.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT

The 454 V8 was bored to 468 cubic inches and externally labeled as a period-correct 396. Equipment includes an aluminum intake, dual-feed Holley carburetor, HEI ignition, coated headers, polished billet brackets and serpentine pulleys, polished alternator, aluminum water pump, aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, modern power steering, and power brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder. The firewall is smoothed and painted, and the engine compartment includes polished Motion valve covers, billet hood hinges, and upgraded fuel-line fittings.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT

The trunk lid underside and jamb are finished in body color. The smooth-painted trunk contains a reproduction redline spare on a painted wheel, jack assembly, replacement mat, decals, and wiring.

CHASSIS AND UNDERSIDE

The body was removed from the frame and mounted on a rotisserie. The floors are finished in polished gloss red, and the frame is powder-coated gray metallic. The complete QA1 suspension uses adjustable coilovers, heavy-duty sway bars, and tubular control arms front and rear. The fuel system includes a polished stainless-steel tank. Wilwood drilled-and-slotted disc brakes are fitted at all four wheels. A polished stainless-steel exhaust system uses an X-pipe and Borla mufflers. The Sid Neal Powerglide has an extra-capacity aluminum pan, and a rebuilt driveshaft connects to a 3.55 Positraction rear axle with an aluminum cover.
