1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Convertible

This beautifully restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Convertible combines classic Rally Sport styling with big-block performance. Finished in its original Glacier Blue Metallic color with white hockey-stick stripes and a white power convertible top, it features a performance-built 454 V8, its original Turbo 350 automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes.

The Camaro has been restored to an exceptionally high cosmetic and mechanical standard. Its body, paint, interior, engine compartment, trunk, and underside all present beautifully.

EXTERIOR

The body is exceptionally straight, with excellent panel alignment and smooth contours extending along the lower body. No visible signs of rust or previous damage were noted during inspection.

The Camaro was refinished in its original Glacier Blue Metallic color and polished to a deep, glass-like shine. White hockey-stick stripes provide a striking contrast, while the front and rear spoilers and SS-style hood complete its muscular appearance.

As a Rally Sport model, it features hideaway headlights that operate correctly. The car rides on 14-inch Rally wheels. The white power convertible top presents like new, and the exterior weatherstripping has been replaced.

INTERIOR

The factory-style Blue Deluxe interior is in excellent condition. It includes molded door panels, custom-weave upholstery, woodgrain trim, and a center console.

The dashboard, vents, controls, gauges, and heater-control panel are exceptionally clean. A tilt steering column with a rosewood-style steering wheel adds to the cabin’s upscale appearance. The clock and AM/FM radio are both operational, along with the glovebox light. An owner’s manual and storage pouch are included.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT

The engine compartment is finished to a show-quality standard and houses a recently rebuilt, performance-built 454 V8. Engine build specifications are included.

Performance upgrades include a COMP Cams camshaft, Speed-Pro pistons, an aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock carburetor, HEI ignition, and long-tube headers. The engine is supported by power steering and power brakes.

The components appear fresh and properly installed, while the surrounding metal surfaces have been neatly painted and detailed.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT

The trunk is clean, solid, and complete. The underside of the trunk lid and surrounding jamb are neatly painted, while the trunk floor is finished in a factory-style spatter coating.

The weatherstripping and trunk mat have been replaced. Equipment includes a collapsible spare tire, inflator bottle, complete jack assembly, and operational trunk light. A convertible-top boot and an additional set of floor mats are also included.

CHASSIS AND UNDERSIDE

The front suspension has been extensively rebuilt with new springs, shocks, control-arm bushings, ball joints, sway-bar bushings, and steering components. New rear shocks have also been installed.

The braking system has been serviced, the brake lines have been replaced, and the parking brake is connected. A new dual-exhaust system is installed.

Additional mechanical equipment includes an extra-capacity anodized oil pan and a high-torque starter. The original Turbo 350 automatic transmission has been serviced. The underside appears to retain solid original metal and has been thoroughly cleaned, painted, and detailed.
